Coal Haulage Companies that have failed to rule out working with Adani

Companies that could make or break the Carmichael Coal Project

Adani forced to set up its own haulage company to haul Carmichael coal

There are only three companies in Australia that would have been equipped to haul Adani’s coal and Adani was unable to secure haulage services from any of them. Adani has been forced to set up its own haulage division, the Bowen Rail Company.

The Bowen Rail Company is owned by Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, the company that operates Adani's 10 ports in India. Until now, Adani Ports has not been directly connected to the Carmichael coal project. Adani Ports' diversification into haulage for the Carmichael coal project, means that Adani Ports' investors and arrangers are now at risk of funding Adani's hugely controversial coal project.

Contact Adani Ports' financiers now and let them know that funding Adani Ports opens up funds for Adani's climate-wrecking coal mine. Read our full analysis here and our Investor briefing here

Tell Adani Ports' investors and bankers they are now at risk of funding the Carmichael coal project.
