2019 Shareholder Resolutions
If you’re a shareholder in a listed company, you have a say in how it operates.
Market Forces is seeking to make the discussion and management of climate change risk mainstream in Australia’s boardrooms. We do this by engaging with companies, and where change isn’t forthcoming, by proposing resolutions company AGMs.
In Australia, it takes a minimum of 100 shareholders to lodge shareholder resolutions. Can you join us as one of the 100?
If you are a shareholder of Woodside Petroleum Ltd and would like to help lodge a shareholder resolution calling for improved climate risk disclosure, please complete the web form below.
To join the resolution, scroll to the form at the bottom of this page, select Woodside, then click next and complete the rest of the form. No physical signature is required.
By doing so you will appoint a representative of Market Forces to act on your behalf for the purpose of lodging the proposed resolutions and supporting statements.
If you cannot complete the web form for some reason, please email email@example.com as soon as possible to arrange an alternative way to join the resolution.

The shareholder resolution consists of a special resolution intended to amend Woodside’s constitution to allow for ordinary resolutions to be lodged by shareholders, as well as an ordinary resolution requesting enhanced climate risk disclosure, specifically around climate change scenario analysis.
The resolutions will be lodged once a minimum of 100 Woodside shareholders have completed to the Agency Agreement. Please read the proposed resolutions and supporting statements by following the links in Step 2 below.

You do not need to fill in the document linked below, just read through the content of the resolutions and supporting statements. To join the resolutions you just need to complete the Agency Agreement form in Step 2 at the bottom of this page.

Step 2: Complete the Agency Agreement
By completing the webform below you are signing an Agency Agreement to allow a representative of Market Forces to lodge the proposed resolutions and supporting statements with Woodside on your behalf. Click here to see an example of the Agency Agreement.
How to complete the webform
Select Woodside Petroleum Ltd as the company for which you wish to allow a representative of Market Forces to lodge resolutions and supporting statements on your behalf. Then click the ‘Next’ button
Enter your shareholder information, then click ‘Next’
Read the confirmation statement and click the box to indicate your agreement. Click ‘Submit’ to finalise the Agency Agreement.
