Shareholder Resolutions
If you're a shareholder in a listed company, you have a say in how it operates.
Market Forces is seeking to make the discussion and management of climate change risk mainstream in Australia's boardrooms. We do this by engaging with companies, and when change isn't forthcoming, by proposing resolutions at company annual general meetings (AGMs).
In Australia, it takes a minimum of 100 shareholders to propose shareholder resolutions. Can you join us as one of the 100?

To join any of the resolutions, scroll to the form at the bottom of this page, select the company/ies you own shares in, then click next and complete the rest of the form. No physical signature is required.
By doing so you will appoint a representative of Market Forces to act on your behalf for the purpose of lodging the relevant resolutions.

Each shareholder resolution consists of a special resolution intended to amend the relevant company's constitutions to allow for ordinary resolutions to be lodged by shareholders, as well as an ordinary resolution requesting Paris-aligned transition planning.
The resolutions will be lodged once a minimum of 100 of the relevant company's shareholders have completed the Agency Agreement. Please read the proposed resolutions by following the links in Step 2 below.

Read the confirmation statement and click the box to indicate your agreement. Click 'Submit' to finalise the Agency Agreement, allowing Market Forces to add you to the relevant resolution(s).
