Fossil fuels – where does your bank stand?

Is your bank funding the dirty coal and gas industry? Which banks are not investing in fossil fuels? What can you do to change your bank’s behaviour — or should you just switch banks?

We have created a table to help you answer these questions. You can compare the position of over 120 banks, credit unions or building societies on investing in the fossil fuels industry, and you can search for an alternative bank. The banks, credit unions and building societies have been sorted into five categories. You can see which banks have funded fossil fuels, which ones have clarified their position on investing in fossil fuels, and which ones are yet to give a response. Importantly, you can take action and contact every single bank, credit union and building society listed.

Find out more about this compare banks table here. Visit the Resources page to find materials that will help you switch banks.
